Happy Summer! Can you believe we are just a few days away from the 4th of July?? Time is just zooming by, as usual! One of my favorite parts of summer is all of the delicious, juicy, ripe fruit available to enjoy. I especially love berries this time of year, when they’re perfectly sun-ripened and so incredibly yummy.
The tasty strawberries I’ve been enjoying with breakfast lately inspired me to want to pull together a list of my favorite strawberry-scented shower gels & body washes from Bath & Body Works. While these strawberry-focused scents can be enjoyed year-round, I especially find them to be the perfect go-to in these warmer, sunnier months.
Without further ado, here are the best Bath & Body Works strawberry shower gels:
Strawberry Flirt
- Official notes: strawberry jam, vibrant poppy, cotton candy musk
I’m starting my list with the newest of the strawberry B&BW scents, Strawberry Flirt. For me, the sun-ripened, jammy strawberry and musk are the stars here. The strawberry part is great but the musk is less cotton candy-ish and more that strong, synthetic type that’s not super agreeable with my chemistry. I noticed they’re using this synthetic musk A LOT in their newer scents lately, much to my chagrin, lol. I complained about it in my last shower gel blog post about cozy scents (which you can check out here).
But I do really like the strawberry jam note they’ve used here, it smells just like sweet, wild strawberries you might find on a hiking trail. I can see poppy being here but the fantasy note is not a super strong player for me. If you love strawberry and are ok with the musk, this will definitely be worth trying. I think it would layer perfectly under anything from the Burberry Her line.

Strawberry Soda
- Official notes: fresh strawberries, bubbly seltzer, crushed ice
I absolutely love the next scent on my list, Strawberry Soda, which truly does smell like an actual strawberry soda pop! It might remind you of yummy Strawberry Crush and, for me, I’m also brought back to a childhood favorite, Strawberry Nesbitt’s (which you can sometimes still find in grocery stores or online!) This scent is very sweet, fun, young-feeling, vibrant, cheerful, and literally fizzy! It’s sure to bring a smile to your face when you give it a sniff!

Strawberry Pound Cake
- Official notes: fresh strawberries, golden shortcake, whipped cream
Strawberry Pound Cake is a fun blend of tart n’ sweet strawberries and spongey yellow cake. It really smells like a strawberry tart to me, with the strawberries here leaning in a slightly tangy direction, compared to most of the other scents on this list. I would still definitely consider it a a sweet and gourmand fragrance, though.

Pinkberry Clouds
- Official notes: strawberry spun sugar, marshmallow fluff, fresh air
YUM, oh yum!!!! This magical strawberry cotton candy treat might just be my fave of the bunch! It literally smells like all of the notes listed with an irresistible combination of sweet strawberry cotton candy/marshmallow and a clean, fresh, airy vibe. If you also love B&BW’s Boardwalk Taffy and/or Cotton Candy Clouds, I think this will be very safe for you. This is perfect to layer under some of my very favorite perfumes: Byredo Sundazed, Parfums de Marly Oriana, and by Kilian Love Don’t Be Shy.

Gingham Gorgeous
- Official notes: pink strawberries, peach nectar, peony blooms
I’m a huge fan of B&BW’s longtime signature Gingham collection, which is very fresh, clean, and floral-fruity. This particular flanker is very pretty with the fresh Gingham line DNA plus ladylike peony, yummy peach nectar, and a gentle berry impression. If you’re already a fan of the clean, fresh, airy, fruity Gingham line, you’ll definitely want to check this one out! Layers perfectly under DKNY’s Be Delicious line and Marc Jacobs’ Daisy line.

Among the Clouds
- Official notes: wild berry skies, whipped vanilla clouds
This is probably the most mellow of the bunch, especially since I have the Moisturizing Body Wash version which reads quite lotiony. If you prefer your berry scent to be more muted and less sweet/candylike, this would be the best one to try. Very easy and pleasant, this would work well layered under light and mellow close-quarters/office-safe scents.

Strawberry Snowflakes
- Official notes: juicy strawberries, whipped cream, iced bergamot
If you love the idea of a strawberry milkshake/Strawberry Quik-type scent, this will probably be your new fave! It has a creamy impression but also gives me that powdery Strawberry Quik vibe. It’s very yummy-smelling, sweet, and fun-loving. Perfect to layer under JHAG’s latest, Miami Shake.

Cotton Candy Champagne
- Official notes: bubbly rosé, sweet strawberry, pink sugar
This is a fun one to pull out around New Year’s Eve! It features a sweet cotton candy combined with slightly tart strawberries (sort of similar in feel to the berries in Strawberry Pound Cake, mentioned above, but a touch lighter). There’s also a light, sparkling, fizzy champagne impression to it. It’s pretty and a touch lighter and brighter than some of the heavier, more syrupy scents on this list.
