Ok so we’ve got a ‘part two, volume two,’ haha! As I was pulling together my previous article on corralling dresser-top clutter, I realized I had plenty of material, in fact, enough to create an entirely separate post about beauty items alone! You already know about my obsession with perfume and all things scented; today I’m going to share some of my solutions for keeping all of those goodies tidy.
Lotion Storage
It’s safe to say the amount of lotion I have borders on the obscene, haha! I have a large basket that holds the lion’s share of my mountain of moisturizers but I wanted to find an attractive way to display my special collection of Byredo hand crèmes.
I love finding creative ways to repurpose things I already have laying around the house. This modern square vase seemed like the perfect vessel to contain my bougie lotion collection.
I encourage you to look around your own house for inspiration. Items that may currently be clutter themselves may be able to be put to good use!

Travel-Size Perfume Storage
My most preferred way to purchase perfume is in a travel-size. Most perfumes come in this size and they’re perfect for those of us who like to switch our perfumes up often, if not daily. I can rarely go through a large bottle of perfume and they’re often quite expensive so I prefer to opt for this handy, portable, and affordable smaller size whenever possible.
I recently discovered this handy container that is not only perfect for holding my travel perfumes but also my lip gloss. This is a splendid solution for holding any long, narrow, cylindrical items.

Another container that I’m currently loving for my travel-size perfumes is this pretty marble option. This gorgeous container has some real heft to it, weighing in at about 2 1/2 pounds. It’s also a very versatile container that can be used and reused for many things around the house including utensils, desk supplies, or hair accessories to name just a few ideas.
It has two slots to hold all of your goodies.

Perfume Samples Storage
An area that was recently starting to get a little unruly for me was my perfume sample collection. I’ve been sampling more and more perfumes lately so I can share them with you here on the blog and while it’s been fun testing out a lot of different scents, it’s also created a lot of clutter.
I found this wonderful rotating storage solution and couldn’t be happier! It’s perfect for corralling my perfume samples plus all sorts of other small odds & ends, including mini candles and lip gloss tins.
Best part? She spins!!

Beauty Sample Packets Storage
Another item that was starting to accumulate rather rapidly was the little sample packets from beauty brands that I’ve been ordering online from. I enjoy these little samples but don’t seem to go through them very quickly, so next thing I know: more clutter!
I’ve mentioned them before but my favorite little clear plastic containers are perfect for beauty samples. They’re just the right size for those little guys.
And while we’re on the subject of those containers, they work great for containing lipstick, too.

I have lots of ways of storing my products, but none of them are as pretty as yours! I have a small rectangular wicker basket that I keep my in-season perfumes in, which is probably the most fashiony of my storage containers.
I use a bunch of different skin care products, and I keep them in a large travel dopp kit. It’s easy to pull out of my closet and onto the bathroom counter, and then when I’m done, pop back into the closet.
As a side note, what a lovely Byredo hand cream collection!
Awww, thank you! 😘 That is a perfect idea for skin care products! Definitely not an item you always want to have out and about taking up precious counter space. Love it!
