Happy autumn, friends! Can you believe it’s already mid-October?? I sure can’t but I am definitely here for it! Anyone who has been here for a minute knows that I am absolutely, unashamedly an autumn girl through and through! I had already drank my first pumpkin spice k-cups of the year back in August and was busy decorating the house with pumpkins in the first week of September! 😄

Despite the masculine-leaning name, a crisp iris note takes center stage here! I first tested this fragrance in its Wallflower form. Expecting something traditional and masculine from the name “Football Season,” I was a bit surprised to find a prominent iris note (that leans slightly feminine, imo) running the show. With the hand soap, despite having different listed notes, it smells identical to the Wallflower version with a dominant iris lead, while the “flannel” note delivers a clean, linen-like freshness. I’m an iris lover so I really enjoy this one and made sure to also purchase the PocketBac Hand Sanitizer, perfect for keeping your hands clean at the next tailgating party!

The Perfect Autumn
- Notes: fresh cranberry, spiced pumpkin, crisp apple
Truly living up to its name, this Bath & Body Works fall hand soap prominently features a flawless blend of all its listed notes: fresh cranberry, spiced pumpkin, and crisp apple. It perfectly walks the line between a tart fruity fragrance and a warm bakery spice, making it the ultimate crowd-pleasing scent to place at your guest bathroom sink. If you love quintessential spicy fall apple scents, this fragrance is an incredibly safe blind buy for the autumn season!

Cider Lane
- Notes: warm caramel, Granny Smith apples, dark brown sugar, ground clove
This Bath & Body Works spiced caramel apple cider hand soap has a VERY natural-smelling apple note. I’ll be honest in that the super realistic apple note oddly leans a bit harsh and earthy to me as I’m lathering up. But once I rinse and smell my clean hands, it settles into an amazing, photorealistic caramel apple cider scent that is absolutely heavenly! If sweet autumn gourmands are your favorite, this fall hand soap is a must-try for your kitchen sink.

Cozy Cashmere
- Notes: smooth lavender, warm vanilla, pink jasmine
I first tried this Bath & Body Works fragrance as a room spray, instantly fell in love, and immediately snatched up the Wallflower and foaming hand soap as well. The perfect summer-into-fall bridge scent, it has an unlisted solar note that gives the smooth lavender and warm vanilla notes a touch of a ‘sunscreeny’ vibe! It’s cozy and vanillic, with a clean linen, comforting cashmere wood scent profile. Overall, it’s just so pleasant, and an absolute LOVE for me!

Ghoul Friend
- Notes: dark strawberries, ghostly peony, spine-chilling citrus
I absolutely LOVE this extremely popular, best-selling Bath & Body Works Halloween hand soap! However, I can’t help but feel like it’s a bit of an odd fragrance choice for a spooky seasonal launch. Notes-wise, it is ALL about ‘dark’ strawberries, ‘ghostly’ peonies, and ‘spine-chilling’ citrus, which actually translates to a sweet, fresh, and ultra-girly floral fruit profile that feels way more like springtime. If you aren’t ready to let go of the vibe when November hits, you could easily just pour this foaming soap into a more neutral dispenser and save it to refresh your bathroom in the spring!

Autumn Drive
- Notes: wild raspberry, warm amber, vanilla birch
This is another fragrance that, despite being marketed as a Bath & Body Works autumn scent, feels incredibly spring-friendly to me. It’s quite light, clean, and fresh, reminding me a lot of iconic fruity-floral fragrances like Marc Jacobs Daisy and DKNY Be Delicious. It even smells as if it contains a hidden crisp apple note! On the skin, you definitely get the official notes of wild raspberry and warm amber, with a comforting vanilla finish. While it contains cozy birch, it isn’t what I would deem a super ‘woodsy’ fragrance—the wood note just lends to that overall clean, airy feel. It’s easily one of my personal favorites from the line!
