Hall of Style’s Fabulous Holiday 2022 Gift Guide

Hi friends! Ready or not, the holiday season is now fully upon us! I know there are those out there who are more organized than I and have already begun their shopping so I thought it was the perfect time to publish a gift guide. I personally love, love, LOVE shopping for gifts for loved ones. For me, there’s nothing better than finding that perfect item I know they will really love and/or be able to get a lot of use from.

Here is my 2022 list of my favorite holiday gift picks, with a heavy emphasis on scented things, of course! I’ve covered everything from stocking stuffers to decorative items and, of course, most everything here is a little more elevated than your average gift, while still keeping lots of different budgets in mind. Poppy & Pout Lip Balm

Lip Balm is the perfect stocking stuffer and Santa never forgets to bring one to each stocking in our household! It’s something most people use daily and often keep a tube in multiple locations around the house/car/office/purse/etc. If Santa wants to offer a more elevated balm this year, I highly recommend Poppy & Pout’s cute and yummy-smelling options. There are several fragrances to choose from in fun ‘flavors’ such as Pomegranate Peach, Blood Orange Mint, and my personal fave shown here, Marshmallow Creme. L’Occitane Shea Hand Cream

L’Occitane’s famous shea butter products always make fabulous stocking stuffers. For the folks on your list with dry skin, you cannot go wrong with their tried and true hand cream and lotions. And with so many scents/sizes/varieties to choose from, it’s easy to find a fave for everyone on the list! This year’s limited edition seasonal fragrances of Golden Latte and Green Chestnut both sound SO GOOD! I can’t wait to try them both. George & Viv Holiday Bar Soap

These charming bar soaps from George & Viv catch my eye every single year at Anthropologie. The darling festive paper they are wrapped in, along with the thoughtful little details including cookie cutters and bottle brush trees, make for an absolutely adorable stocking stuffer. They smell amazing, too, with such fragrance combos as pecans & gingerbread, orange & cinnamon, and almond, coconut, plum, & vanilla. Who wouldn’t love to receive one of these cuties in their stocking or as a hostess gift??

For a fabulous festive lotion option, you can’t go wrong with B&BW’s Merry Cookie scent. This yummy aroma is chock full of vanilla and almond notes and smells just like freshly baked holiday sugar cookies. Prada Paradoxe Perfume

Prada’s first entirely new perfume release in many (seven?) years has been hotly anticipated and does not disappoint. With notes of beautiful neroli, orange blossom, jasmine sambac, cozy amber, bourbon vanilla, and musk, this new release contains all of the notes that are currently the most popular in modern perfumery. The bottle is also gorgeous and is a fitting nod to the house’s iconic triangular logo. If she loves sweet white floral fragrances like Valentino’s popular Donna Born in Roma, Voce Viva and YSL’s Libre Intense, this is sure to be a hit. Gold Monogram Pendant Necklace

I was ‘a little bit Alexis‘ before I even knew that was going to be a thing, lol I’ve loved my cute initial necklace from Anthro for many years, this cute & minimalistic statement piece goes with everything and never goes out of style. It’s also quite affordable but looks much more elegant than its modest price tag would have you believe.

Lollia Wish Bubble Bath

Another brand that I keep going back to again and again is Margot Elena’s elegant Lollia line. Their beautiful Wish fragrance brings to mind sweet French pastille candies; with notes of vanilla bean, rice flower, sugar cane, ylang ylang, and amber woods. This beautiful scent comes in an array of products, including perfume, hand cream, candles, shower gel, and more so you can surround yourself with its luxurious fragrance. This time of the year, I love to draw a cozy bath with this opulent bubble bath, it’s the perfect way to unwind after a long day of work, shopping, or holiday cooking.

Glossier Balm Dotcom

Glossier’s trendy and fun products are to be found on manys’ wish lists this year. Whether it be their creamy Cloud Paint blush (possibly the coolest product name ever!) or their top selling Boy Brow grooming wax, this hip brand offers plenty of choices for stylish makeup lovers. My favorite product of theirs is the versatile Balm Dotcom salve. While it functions wonderfully as a great-smelling lip balm, the original formula can also be used on the hands and to soften cuticles. It comes in a variety of delicious scents and some even have a touch of tint or sparkle to them.

Clinique Find Your Happy Mini Fragrance Gift Set

This one actually came out last year (2021) but it’s still available on Amazon so thought it was worth mentioning. This cute sampler features six different variations on Clinique’s super popular Happy fragrance: Peony Picnic, Lily of the Beach, Cocoa & Cashmere, Indigo Mist, Baby Bouquet, and my personal fave, Cookies & Kisses, which is a very close dupe of Anthropologie’s popular Vanilla Doré perfume from Pharmacia. Springbok Gamer’s Trove Puzzle

When the onslaught of Covid entered into our world, my husband and I quickly became champion puzzlers. We made the quarantine bearable by spending every Friday night with a new puzzle, good music, a favorite scented candle, and a fun craft beer (read more about our fun Fridays here, here, and here). We still love a good puzzle night and one of my husband’s favorite puzzles is this Springbok one that features all sorts of nostalgic gaming fun.

Frères Branchiaux Wakanda Candles

I have loved this brand and all that they stand for from day one. Three smart and motivated brothers began a candle-making company out of their own home and have grown by leaps and bounds over the years. Now, their popular and great-smelling products are featured in many stores, including Macy’s, Target, and World Market but are still made with the same loving care. A few years back, I purchased their fabulous Heart of Wakanda candle for my husband, as we are both huge fans of the Black Panther movies. This and/or their Wakanda Forever candle will make the perfect gift for the Black Panther/Marvel fans on your list.

Crate & Barrel Jaxson Rocks Old Fashioned Glasses

I immediately fell in love with these gorgeous old fashioned glasses the moment I first saw them. I love the geometric-shape detail, how hefty and thick they are, and of course, the affordable price tag. If you’re looking for a classy gift for your favorite whisky afficiondo that won’t break the bank, you can’t go wrong with these glasses. They used to also carry a gorgeous matching decanter but, sadly, I don’t see it showing up on their website anymore.

Votivo has been a longtime staple favorite candle house of mine. Their beautiful candles always instantly elevate a space with their good looks and even better scents. Marshall Acton Bluetooth Speaker

This highly coveted Bluetooth speaker had been on my wish list for a year or so when my awesome and generous husband surprised me with it as a housewarming gift when we moved to a new city. I had been drooling over it ever since I started seeing it in seemingly every stylish home photo shoot I laid eyes on. I love the classic Marshall styling that’s reminiscent of their legendary amplifiers and it works as good as it looks. I use mine daily to listen to my various homemade Spotify playlists and favorite Sirius XM stations. This makes a fabulous household gift the entire family will love and enjoy for many years to come.
