Hall’s Haul: Bath & Body Works Autumn 2021 Shower Gels, Part II – Pumpkin Fragrances

Welcome back for part II of my haul of Bath & Body Works autumnal-fragranced shower gels for 2021! Today, I look at five more fragrances, this time all sharing a pumpkin theme. Be sure to check out yesterday’s post on the non-pumpkin-y scents, too, if you haven’t yet 😊

Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte

• Notes: pumpkin latte, toasted marshmallow, praline musk

This is one of those fragrances where if you only open the cap and smell it, you won’t get the full story. It smells almost sickly-sweet when just sniffing from the bottle but lathered up in the shower, it’s quite lovely. The fragrance itself is not overly sweet, nor does it have a heavy coffee note. It’s more of a vanillic/sandalwood/cashmeran-type scent to my nose. It’s quite nice and not overly gourmand-sweet, despite the name.

Side note: I have last year’s packaging so mine looks a little different from what’s being sold this year but it has the same fragrance notes. I’ve also had the hand soap in this fragrance and it’s perfectly suited for the kitchen.

Pumpkin Cupcake

• Notes: whipped buttercream, pumpkin spice, vanilla cake batter

Yummy, this one really does smell like cupcakes! The pumpkin is very light in this fragrance and the stand-out note is definitely the vanilla butter cream frosting. Sweet vanilla gourmand lovers should definitely give this one a taste! Er, I mean, try!

The things I do for my art… since I just HAD to photograph cupcakes for both today’s and yesterday’s post, it meant my hubby and I just HAD to have them for dessert tonight! 🧁

Pumpkin Pecan Waffles

• Notes: maple syrup, golden waffles, pumpkin spice

You’ve heard of breakfast in bed, how about breakfast in the shower?? I discovered this fragrance last year in the form of B&BW’s Wallflowers home fragrance and was hooked! When I saw that this year it’s also available in a body wash, I snatched it right up. This scent is DELICIOUS and decadent! It literally smells like a Belgian waffle brimming over with delicious real maple syrup and pecans. Perfect for those mornings when you don’t have time for a big, homemade breakfast and you’re daydreaming of a stack of syrup-drenched pancakes or waffles, this will instantly transport you to the breakfast of your dreams!

This fragrance also smells a bit like butterscotch, yum! AND it leaves your bathroom smelling absolutely amazing after your shower. A huge favorite of mine and a must-try for gourmand lovers who are partial to the aromas of maple, butterscotch, and/or thick caramel.

Pumpkin Pecan Waffles – entire line (at Amazon)

Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin

• Notes: heirloom pumpkin, autumn cinnamon, ginger snap

This perennial B&BW favorite is the quintessential autumn fragrance. It smells like you’re digging into a slice of spicy pumpkin pie while warming some apple cider on the stove. Lots of autumn spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, etc.) with a slight apple scent. Comforting and cozy, this is the perfect fragrance for a fall day.

This is another one I purchased last year with the older packaging but still smells great a year later!

Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin – entire line (at Amazon)

White Pumpkin & Chai

• Notes: cinnamon cider, spiced pumpkin, vanilla glaze
• This Fragrance Also Available In: regular & travel-sized fine fragrance mist, regular & travel-sized super smooth body lotion, ultimate hydration body cream, and purse-sized hand cream

Spices for miles here! Lots of cinnamon and other autumnal spices. Not a very sweet scent, more neutral. Definitely reminiscent of a spicy cup of fall tea. There’s a tiny bit of white musk here but I would not say this is an overly musky scent. I don’t get a ton of the vanilla or pumpkin notes, they’re much lighter impressions. Spice rules with this fragrance!

As with Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte and Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin, I have this one in last year’s packaging.
